Paul and Louise were living at Ile St. Jean, likely in the area of Rustico in 1761. Sometime thereafter they moved to Miquelon. We know they were there in 1764. Another move saw them back in Rollo Bay in the early 1780's. It was from there that this family moved to Cheticamp in 1786.
Paul, his son Basil, and Paul's brother Jean were among the 14 original settlers who received land at Cheticamp in 1790.
For reasons that are unclear, Paul, Louise, Basil and few other family members returned to Rollo Bay not long after 1790. Paul died there but Basile would return to Cheticamp with a large group of Chiassons shortly after 1800.
